How to Add Search Description in Each Blogger Post Manually

Hello Readers, today I am going to tell you that how you can add search description to your posts on blogger manually. A search description is basically the description of your post which shows up in the search engine when somebody searches for some specific query with your website title. It looks like as in this image:

Although Search Engines automatically choose the search description, you can manually submit the search description to be shown in Search Engine, so you can have full control over what your visitors and other readers can see.

Why add Search Description Manually?

When the search engines choose the search description, sometimes they choose them from anywhere in the post even if it does not go with the topic and can be chosen from anywhere from your post. One other reason to submit the description yourself is that you can add your keywords in the search description easily which helps in ranking them easily. Adding this description also gives you full control to show people what you are writing about so they can come to your blog only if your blog seems relevant. If they come to your blog and go away really fast, then it will increase your Bounce Rate, which is definitely bad.

How to Add Search Description Manually?

Here are some simple steps you can follow to add Search Engine Description to your blogger blog

1. Go to Your Blog by Signing in to the Blogger.

2. On the Main menu, you will see Settings.

3. Click on the Settings option followed by the Search Preferences option
